This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of the WaySense mobile application operated by Figliotech. Our goal is to provide services to our users with clarity and transparency. It is with that in mind that we are pleased to share with you the information in this Privacy Policy. WaySense is a computer vision and machine learning-powered dashcam app with built-in driver safety capabilities. The app allows users to:

Dashcam images:
When you activate our app on your dash-mounted mobile device, the app will capture images of both the interior and exterior of your vehicle. As a result, the app will capture images of anything within the frame of your device’s forward- and rear-facing cameras, including the roads you travel, destinations you visit, other vehicles on the road, and individuals – including you – who are inside of your vehicle and associated behaviors within your vehicle.
Note: We do not currently collect any audio through the app’s dashcam functionality..
Other information you may provide:
• Contact, account, and profile information, such as your first and last name, profile photo, email, account password, address, phone number, Driver’s License number (or digital copy of Driver’s License), emergency contact information, and birth date.
• Payment information needed to complete your transactions with us, including name, payment card information, and billing information. This information may be processed by our payment service providers, which may handle your payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
• Insurance information, such as your insurance provider and policy ID, and claim information.
• Trip details, such as your origin, destination, and planned stops, and historical routes you have traveled when using the app.
• Device contacts, if you choose to grant the app access to your contact book. We will use this information to allow you to invite others to join the app or your Family Group, to identify emergency contacts, and to otherwise personalize your experience using the app. You can always change your device settings to terminate our access to your contact book.
• Vehicle information, such as your license plate, VIN, and vehicle make and model.
• Messages and other content that you choose to send to other users through the app’s group and direct messaging features.
• Feedback or correspondence, such as information you provide when you contact us with questions, feedback, or otherwise correspond with us online or in the app.
• Marketing information, such as your preferences for receiving communications about our app, and details about how you engage with our communications.
• Usage information, such as information about how you use our app and interact with us, including information associated with any content you post to the platform, and information you provide when you use any interactive features of the app.
• Other information that we may collect, which is not specifically listed here, but which we will use in accordance with this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.
Information we obtain from third parties:
• Social media. We may maintain pages on social media platforms, such as X, Instagram, Facebook, and other third-party platforms. When you visit or interact with our pages on those platforms, the platform provider’s privacy policy will apply to your interactions and their collection, use, and processing of your personal information. You or the platforms may provide us with information through the platform, and we will treat such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
• Other sources. We may obtain your personal information from other third parties, such as publicly available sources and data providers.
Data collected automatically. We and our service providers may automatically log information about you, your mobile device, your vehicle, and your interaction over time with our app, our communications, and other online services, such as:
• Device data, such as your mobile device’s operating system type and version, manufacturer and model, screen resolution, RAM and disk size, CPU usage, device type (e.g., phone, tablet), IP address, language settings, mobile device carrier, radio/network information (e.g., WiFi, LTE, 3G), and general location information.
• Online activity data, such as pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page or screen, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times, and duration of access, and whether you have opened our marketing emails or clicked links within them.

• Location information, such as the precise geolocation of your device collected using methods that include GPS, wireless networks, cell towers, Wi-Fi access points, and other sensors. We collect precise geolocation only if you permit us to do so through your device’s settings, and use such information to provide the functionality of our app, to send you location-specific notifications (such as missing person alerts), as well as for internal analytics purposes to help us improve our platform.
• Telematics data, such as information about your vehicle’s speed, braking and acceleration, which we collect using sensors on your mobile device. We use this information to detect certain driving behaviors, create a driving score for you, as well as for our internal analytics purposes.
We use the following tools for automatic data collection:
• Cookies, which are text files stored on a visitor’s device to uniquely identify the visitor or to store information or settings for the purpose of helping you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, enabling functionality, and helping us understand user activity and patterns.
• Local storage technologies, like HTML5 or React async storage, that provide cookie-equivalent functionality but can store larger amounts of data, including on your device outside of your browser in connection with specific applications.
• Web beacons, also known as pixel tags or clear GIFs, which are used to demonstrate that certain content was accessed, viewed, or clicked.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyze information about use of our services and report on activities and trends. This service may also collect information regarding the use of other websites, apps and online resources. We use your personal information to operate, improve, and develop our app, including to:
• Operate, maintain, secure, and analyze our app.
• Improve our app, and develop new products and services, including by training our machine learning models
• Communicate with you about our app, including by sending you announcements, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages.
• Understand your needs and interests, and personalize your experience with our app and our communications.
• Market our app, and other products and services that we believe may be of interest to you, including third-party offerings.
We may also use personal information to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process; protect our, your, or others’ rights, privacy, safety, or property; comply with our policies and procedures; enforce the terms and conditions that govern our app; and prevent, identify, investigate, and deter fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical, or illegal activity, including cyberattacks and identity theft.

Other users of the app. We make certain profile information available to other users of the app in order to facilitate communications among Family Group members. We also disclose Family Group members’ trip information, telematics data, and precise geolocation to one another (unless those members have turned off the app’s access to device geolocation).
Your insurance provider. You can direct us to disclose information, such as your vehicle telematics data and driving score, to your insurance provider.
Service providers. Companies and individuals that provide services on our behalf or help us operate our app or our business (such as hosting, information technology, customer support, email delivery, and analytics services).
Professional advisors. Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers, and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.
Authorities and others. Law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties, as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate for the compliance and protection purposes described above.
Business transferees. Acquirers and other relevant participants in business transactions (or negotiations for such transactions) involving a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization, sale, or other disposition of all or any portion of the business or assets of, or equity interests in, Figliotech (including in connection with a bankruptcy or similar proceedings).
Opt out of marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing-related communications by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions contained in the marketing communications we send to you.
Device permissions. You can revoke the app’s access to your contact book, camera and gallery, or precise geolocation by adjusting those permissions in your device settings. Please note, that even if you terminate our access to your contact book, we may continue to retain the copy of your contacts that you had previously shared.
Account deletion. You can delete your account by clicking “Delete account/deactivate” in the app’s settings.
Our app may contain links to other sites or services not operated or controlled by us. The information that you disclose to these third-party sites will be governed by the specific privacy policies and terms of service of the third-party sites and not by this Privacy Policy. By providing these links, we do not imply that we endorse or have reviewed these sites. Please contact the third-party sites directly for information on their privacy practices and policies.
We employ a number of technical, organizational, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect. However, no security measures are fail-safe, and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the date of this Privacy Policy and post it in the app, or notify you as otherwise required by law.
